Easter inspiration

The Easter holidays are almost here, yay! With brighter weather reported, the opportunity to see family and friends and the reopening of activities and attractions, there is lots for everyone to smile about 😊

We have put together a list of ideas for you and your family, things to do at home, activities to do and places to visit – most will need prebooking so plan ahead.

Waterperry Gardens – Open for visitors but there are no planned Easter activities

Blenheim Palace – The park and gardens are open now and from 2nd April there will be a Easter Lamb Trail – find 12 mischievous sheep in the walled garden.

Stoner Park – The annual Stonor Easter Trail will run every day between the 2nd to 18th of April.  Follow the trail around Tumblestone Hollow and the Gardens at Stonor, exploring and playing as you go along.  Solve the puzzle and bring it back the to Visitor Centre to receive a treat.

Waddesdon Manor – Follow their family trail around the grounds and engage with nature with 10 different activities along the way. Tickets for Easter are now available to book.

Coggs Farm Enjoy walks in our meadows and woodland areas, wave to the animals and follow the Discovery Trails around our 17 acres of grounds. Cogges Kitchen cafe will also be open for takeaway refreshments and snacks from 9am – 4pm.

Odds FarmMarmalade’s Mini Golf is opening from 29th March with the farm hoping to reopen from 12th April.

Hinksey Pool – Hinksey Outdoor heated Pool on Monday 29th March

Thomley – A place for people of all abilities and disabilities! Thomley reopens on 29th March which will initially just be the outdoor areas of Thomley, plus the toilets and sensory rooms. The café will be run as a takeaway service

Jacqu’in the Box – Musical Storytelling Adventure Classes and
Magical Birthday Parties! Seasonal workshops and Party Events

Creation Station Arts and Craft sessions – They are running some egg-cellent easter themed fun sessions.

Treasure Map Trails – Fun ways to explore your local area and perfect for a socially distanced adventure

Green Dragon Eco Farm – Reopening on April 12th for Spring Babies Easter fun! Mad Hatter Bubbler, Easter egg trail and see the Easter bunny.

Bucks Goat Centre – The staff and animals are looking forward to welcoming visitors from 12th April. In the meantime, if you live within 10miles of the centre you can book a ‘goat in your garden’ visit

Bekonscot Model Village & Railway – This wonderful Model Village will be opening back up from 12 April 2021. Pre-purchase tickets available online.

Clip ‘n Climb. Bicester – Lots of fun for all and no previous experience needed – check it out from 12th April

Cotswold Wildlife Park – reopen on 12th April

Whipsnade Zoo – live streams on their Facebook page

Woburn Safari park – the drive through wildlife park will reopen on 12th April

Millets Farm – Millets Farm will be opening their Farmer Carters Courtyard this Spring from 12th April! With 7 quizzes to complete, crazy golf to conquer, go-karts to race and many more games to entertain, it’s sure to be a fun filled day that the whole family can enjoy out in the fresh air.
